Your job is to present the situation is a way that either helps you or addresses the special situation of your target stakeholder. Remember that other stakeholders will hear your message. Further, if your message is never read or understood, then no communication has taken place. So what is the message you want to deliver? Decide that first, and then worry about how to shape and channel the message.
Every analysis ends with these questions:

• What are they saying
• Why are they saying it
• How much money / lives / stuff
• When did all of this happen / start
• Where is going on / going to end
