Assignment 4 – Working with graphics (part 2)
Keeping in mind your group POV and orientation, your job is to write a 250 – 400 word letter or press release based on the attached chart.
This time, however, your mission is to write to a specific person, group or company and recommend a specific course of action. You can add details and assumptions of your own.
For instance, the IR group might use this chart as justification for a company management team to pursue a specific plan or for a SPECIFIC investor to invest in a specific company or fund.
The gov/dip team could take this as a problem that needs to be addressed.
The management team could build a presentation to their board around the chart.
Whatever you do, please follow these guidelines:
1) Individual work. Use your group POV, but everyone does and submits their own work.
2) Keep it specific. Some of you are being too general — writing for “the media” or “investors” or “the public”. This time, I want you to write to a specific person or group.
3) Have a specific goal or action. You are proposing a plan.
4) 250 – 400 words.
5) Remember the basics. Good grammar, simple sentence structure and 3 paragraphs.
